it's BREAK!!!

Oh My Gosh!!! I am sooooo HAPPY! I am on holiday break! The last two days of school we had finals. Ugh. Tell Lyd "Happy BirthDay!" That's so funny about the dance LaRie. You won't believe what I did once. OK you probably will, I learned the ENTIRE "single ladies" dance by Beyonce off of YouTube last year. But here is the funny part. I learned it BACKWARDS!!!
!!!SDRAWKCAB
LOL! So I showed off to all my friends at dance and they all laughed at me. It was pretty hilarious! Like when the dancers turned right I turned left. LaRie, your life sounds so much more interesting then mine. I have gone over to the same friends house 15 weekends in a row. I really need a life. You what i really want to do right now? Play tennis. But all the kids in my neighborhood who would play with me aren't here. *sob* Last night my dad and I went to the OU college basketball tournament. OU played UTEP (University of Texas at El Paso) OU lost horribly. I might start taking belly dancing lessons. Just for fun at the community center. They have a troup that performs at the medieval fair. I have been listening to alot of KJ103. Its a pop radio station. I have been thinking of making up a dance to "Tik Tok." Hannukah is already over. I got some really neat stuff. I am going to redo my room. I got a new comforter on sale at JCPenny's the other day so i am going to paint my room like that. WOW! All this typing is making my carpals hurt.(wrists) I am so proud I know all 206 bones in the human body. I really want to give my sister a make over. But will she let me? NO! She can be so frustrating some times. Of course I still love her though. I need more friends. Or more of a social life. Whichever works for me. I wonder where everyone else from camp is? I've seen Brady at WalMart once. Besides that I've only seen LaRie and Lydia. What was Lydie's nickname? I am planing to have a Holiday party over break. We are going to play dirty Santa and have a sleepover. Does anyone have any party ideas? I very much wish my school had a pom squad. We have a cheer team but no pom squad. I might talk to the administrative people about that. I think I have a way of making it cheaper than a cheer sqaud. My house is in a neighborhood right by the road. You can always hear the street sounds. It sounds like a cop just gave someone a ticket. The police are all over the road right there. It changes speed limits kinda quickly, so police hang around that spot in case some one didn't slow down. My dad says he likes hearing the road because he can hear the trains on the train tracks. I have to be practicing my chess playing skills if I ever want to beat my Grandfather at it. He is so good. I beat a couple of my friends last week. It was pretty interesting. I have to go so I'll blog again later.

busy,busy,busy....

Wow C, pretty exciting, well okay, kinda exciting. Guess what I just did. Ha, well you'll never guess anyway. I learned a dance from a internet video. It's the signature dance from the show Dance Your Ass Off-seriously thats not a nice title. But it's a fun dance. And i'm all out of breath. Fun, fun, fun. Well, the latest in my life is....ONLY 4 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS---woah, it came to fast. Well Na, was a classroom helper at my MD school last Wed. She got to meet "my little girl" Yarhitzi--Rubi---and she gave her a christmas present from me (yes I know i'm sweet) I had some envelopes in there for her to write me. Well on Friday she sent me a letter. I was so excited. Lyd and Emma were arguing over it. Lyd's like it's from Yarhitzi--Em said no it isn't and so on. It was kinda funny. We were writing letters back and forth. The letter I sent back I had a huge piece of cardstock paper and I made a envelope out of it. It was a pretty big and bright and glittery envelope. It was so fun. That will a surprise. If I figure right she should have gotten it today. Last night me, my friends and a class from our church went to Bricktown. We went inside the Art Museum, and the Cristal Bridge. And to sonic, and starbucks, and we walked about 3 miles. We had so much fun. Tonight our YOUGROW group is going to Chickasha to look at christmas lights. That'll be fun too. On Sat. was a friend's Golden Birthday (i had mine when i was five and too young to know what it was) We dressed up really fancy and had a ton of fun. We said we should have danced or something . It was all girls except the BD girls dad (that was fine) and Brandon (our MD leader) it was kinda awkard with him there. We still had fun. We won awards too. I won the award for the person who talk's the most. Rachel was reading about it and about 3 girls are like "get ready Val" well thank's a lot. I went along with it and had a lot of fun. And no it wasen't offensive to me. Lydia's BD was yesterday--she's 13 now--aaahhhhhhh....
!!!!! I think...mixed feelings. Anyway so thats the latest for now. Glad you wrote C.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

LaRie

and a HAPPY NEW YEAR---I just had to add that.

sorry for abrupt halt

sorry for the abrupt halt yesterday i was out of time on the library computers i barely managed to sign off. my dad took our computer with with him and is out of town at work.Soooooo any way when we burst out laughing Mr.Daniels looked at us like we were crazy and like he missed the point of us laughing. when class got out we were still talking and imitating Mr.Daniels face when he looked at us.today there was nothing god to talk about except that Mr.Daniels told us we have our nine weeks test today. seriously no joke all the color drained out of my face when he said that our test was today. about 5minuites later he told us it was open book all the blood came back to my face. i have to go today i have conssesion stand for basketball games against roland. i have to do it for NJHS.later people

ps. where is every body not you gege or Larie but everyone else.

lot to say but little time to say it

wow laRie your life seems so much more interesting than mine does. at school we have been prepping for nine weeks tests.so far i have taken history and reading. tomorrow i have to take English, algebra 1, Spanish.today and yesterday in science we did labs.the people in my group were Mikala and Noah. it was fun because we kept joking and talking about random things.our lab was boring but the class was fun.there was this one kid named nick and he was left without a group and so Brianna, realynne?,and told him that he could be in their group. nick refused to go because he was mad at realynne. when Mr.Daniels asked him what was wrong he said that she had prank called him and realynne denied it.so that went well.finally Brianna managed to coaxes him.meanwhile while the rest of the class worked my group was talking and working.Noah and Mikala were talking about games that the liked and disliked. every now and the i would and my input and then Noah randomly says that he dislikes tomato's and so we all got into another argument about tomato's and whether they were good or bad.then we started talking about how we eat certain foods.(it was a surprise that we were ahead of the class)then Noah said that he is allergic to raspberries and so that got us talking about allergies. when Mr.Daniels walked over to our space he asked us who was doing the most talking over at our group.immediately mikala and i said noah and we all burst out laughing

So much to say, you've got to read this

WOW,
this last Monday was the best, I had so much fun. Let me explain. We didn't have to be there till 9:30 instead of 8:00 yesterday. We did a hour of choir practice, that was okay, the sopranos did really well, that's me, Noel, Riah, Rachel, Hope, Rachel, Rachel, (we have a lot of them) and a few more people. After that we went to our school and gave our teachers a note and cookies (we did this in both schools) Then we went out to eat at Earls, somewhere in downtown. I ordered my food and went to find a table. All the ones with our people at them were full, so I sat at an empty table. Rachel came and sat down, and the Mathew, and Caleb. So that was okay, well then Rachel left and Cannon came and sat down, so I was kinda stuck with all them for lunch, and they woulden't even talk to me, kinda sad. But lunch was really good anyway. After that we went carroling to the pigions, and God. Seriously there was nobody out there to listen so we just left. NOW HERE COMES THE FUN PART'S as we all piled back into the van, we were getting ready to go on a scavenger hunt. Morgan, our team leader was reading the rules, and what we have to do when we arrived at church. We all piled out and headed up stairs where Brandon read the rules again. His dad was to judge, he said " I accept cookies, hug, and dollar bills" so you could get onto his good side. Our team had 14 girls and Mr. Boyd, as our team driver. We have a video camera too. Our AWSOME GIRL'S TEAM was dying to get going cause we had to be back at church by 4:00 no matter what time we left. Brandon gave to go sign and we shot outside. First thing we did was run around the corner to the stop sign and got our whole team in front of it. We were leaving the parking lot by the time the other teams were. We went to the park, and all slid down a spiral slide, then we went or ran to the b-ball court threw a tennis ball through and the made the word CAT on the ground with our bodies. Someone had to hand upside down on monkey bars for 10 seconds, that was me. And I almost fell on my head too. We went to Braums got a ketchep packed, a free small ice cream cone, Mr. Boyd had to eat a fast a possible, we got to menu, and 14 girls squeezed into a booth meant for 4 people, and then we all yealled " I can't believe we all fit in here" (by the was our team had to best place) Then at Mardel (we saw Nathan's team) Mr. Boyd had to drink a steaming hop cup of coffe (he had just ate a ice cream cone, very cold and now super hot coffe. (he was complaining about the rules of this game). We got a picture of a teddy bear (they named him Charlie) and 2 people to say the pledge of alligance. We went to Dollar Tree, and ran into Nathan's team again, they were the older boys. Got our stuff there, a toy, and suckers. Went to Krispy Kreme and Mr. Boyd had to eat a free donught. We went to Long Johns Silver's and ordered pirate hats and sang from 10 to 1 bottles of pop on the wall, we sang it pretty loud. And guess what team walkes in, yeah Nathan's again. We then went to Chick-fil-a and ran into Nathan's team AGAIN. And believe it or not we ALL did the CHICKEN DANCE in front of the Chick-Fil-a, so funny. We went inside and got a empty fry contanier, and outside we fed a dog a dog treat. (the other teams Caleb (his name means dog) actually ate the dog treat, and Noel at one too, there faces were so funny) Then we went to a supermarket (on the way there we all said "We love you Mr. Werner---that got us 500 extra points) and mailed a letter (this was required or you were out) went inside and got a Oscar Meyer Weiner package and sang the song in the store (you know it's kinda fun making an idiot of yourself when you in a big group of people doing it) and in the stor we got a coca cola soda can. So we start running out of the stor and Justin (he's on Jon's team, the younger boys) is walking in, of course were surprised cause well duh where's the rest of his team. They were at the mail box thingie mailing their letter. And boy were they surprised for some reason i've never seen 15 people more so fast before, we were all over the whole time, quite fun actually. They were surprised cause one second we were there and the next were totally gone. It took us a little longer to get into the van so Jon's team ended up leaving right ahead of us, heading back to church. Mr. Boyd pulled into the alley way and i'm proud to say that without breaking the law (that was a joke, we had going) we were the first ones back. The Whiteny's team, Jon's, and Nathan's was 2 minuets late (that's 100 points off or being late) we then watched each other's videos, and laughed at each other. Noel eating a dog treat. Jon's team could not find monkey bars to hang upside down on so guess what he did. Now Jon's a pretty big fellow, like really muscular (he's like 18 or 19) and his team was all younger boys. For some reason they were standing by a large and very tall fence when they coulden't find their monkey bars. So without any warning he pick's up Cannon flips him upside down (like he was nothing) and hangs him on the fence. And he did this to all his team members looks them over like 6 14 and 15 year old boys and just walks off. Leaving them to figure out how to get down by themselves. It was pretty funny. And want to know who won. Well only the team with the most people, us 15 people with 9,027 points. We won by like a thousand points. On more funny thing Jon's team found a out of state liscenes plate it was Texas so they turned the camera upside down and filmed it that way. Then Jon had to yell Boomer Sooner, which i'll tell you started a riot, but the good kind. Anyway I had to cut that short cause ya'll proabally don't want to read all that. If you read this whole post i'll be suprised. Well tell me what you think.

Busy people....there all equal....whatever that means...

So here I am finally. Hey C our dog had 8 puppies once and then she had 9. We got rid of her, mom was worried she'd have more. Well I hope you'all are having a nice December. Mine if very busy, MD parties, next week, MD training, calling C1st kids, or them calling me. Big Birthday Party, It's the Golden Globe Awards type of party, and I'm still looking for a dress to wear, no luck there. My grandparent's were down from MO and they just left this morning. Next week is a MD party, were going to go out to eat, walk around downtown, possibly go caroling, and go on a scavenger hunt. Then we have a YOUGROW party. Morgan's BD party, and ect....just a lot of stuff to do. My Character First kids have been calling me. Were not going to be in the school's for 5 weeks cause of the holidays and training. So we gave them our phone number and they have been calling Katie and I. I had a little girl Kayla who's in first grade call me last night and we talked for a while. She's so cute. We gave our First and Second grade classes our number. We weren't even going to try the kindergarden class. Last Monday Katie and I didn't even teach anything in the kindergarden class we spent the ENTIRE 30 minuets trying to get them to calm down. The teacher's said they saw the fifth graders acting up and since then they haven't been able to do anything, so crazy. I was also sad since it was the last day were going to see them for over a month. MLG (my little girl--Rubi) was crying when I left. She wasen't shure if her mom would let her call me, that's why she was crying. I hope her mom allowes her to call at least once. Then I can get her phone number and call her and talk to her. Anyway i've got to go. Oh one last thing

BREAKING NEWS

As of last yesterday before lunch my sister Helen was heading to work in Shawnee and the van stalled right in the middle of the road. She was stuck and freaking out (but that's not the point) we got to van to a shop and came the the conclusion that it is shot, history, zilch, nothing at least anymore. So dead, doesen't work, gone ....you get the point, so we have three people with jobs in our house and one vehicle. Good luck getting places. Na, said "at least we (she and I ) have guarenteed spots on the way to church cause of MD. Anyway, were pretty much stuck.

That's all the interesting news I have for now, i'll blog later.

A PAINFUL loss

You might wonder why the word PAINFUL is in all caps? It is because today I had my last football game as the mascott. The season is over. We were crushed. Also I did so many flips and landed funny that my elbows are swollen. I also think I bruised my cocyx. I am now typing this blog very painfully. I took a mortrin but will that really work? My muscles are locking up and keep popping. I e-mailed Sharon. Hopefully I will get a reply soon. I REALLY hope camp got another government grant. Does anyone know anything about Thailand? If you do tell me about it in the comments. Please and Thank You. Alright I have to go to bed now.

FREEDOM
Freedom is like the wind
Free to do what ever you please
Freedom will free you from your prision cell
No matter where you are freedom will find you
It is like the ocean creshing and playing
You feel like playing with the wind
Freedom is the time where you forget the world
It is the time to have fun and be your self
It is when you can soar over mountains and oceans
Sometimes freedom takes a while to find you
Freedom is a state of mind
Freedom never dies down

today my library had a game day and i got the part of playing part hostess and part gamer.at school i had to stay after school because i forgot to do one of my history teachers assignments that was due today.that made me late to get here and so i couldn't blog then.i got here and had to start playing hostess right when i got here.its raining so much here that where i live we will have to go the back way into poteau because the bridge will be flooded.what do you think of this poem.

Rain
See the clouds crying
Hear the water droplets hit the ground
It sounds like someone tapping their fingers on the window
Listen to the pitter-patter pitter-patter that's the rain
The rain waters the crops and fields
Sometimes rain falls right on time to wash away your tears
Sometimes rain washes away painful memories
Hear the hollow sound of the rain hitting the leaves
Remember the deaths of the world
Remember your past as the rain pounds the pavement
Watch the storm blow by outside

Rain

I've read most of the Brian Jaque books. They're ok. It's raining alot. I'm writting a screenplay for this book called A Crooked kind of Perfect. It should be fun. I had academic team practice today. We just researched the entire time. My reading teacher(he's co-sponsor for the team) told me to "keep it real" it was really embarrasing!!! He did it on purpose too. He is always squatting in his chair. Like this TV character I know. (I'm doing the same thing right now) It hurts my legs. I'm so jittery today. I think I will work on my dance solo later tonight. Are any of you in a program called: Model UN? I wrote another poem called Flowers. Yours was really good C. Tell me how you like this one:

Flowers

Shining
Sweet Smelling
fragrance. Bees buzzing
by your softly made petals.
G i v i n g ,M a k i n g, T a k i n g.
Pastel leaves making bouquets.
Given to loved ones.
Soft
Sweet Smelling
Heart Repairing
Shining
Living
Loving
flowers.

messy but fun time

today at school for NJHS aka national junior honor society we made carmel popcorn balls.my teachers were pritty nice to us today hardly any home work if you dont count all my history homework.which is 3 pages of IDs soo much fun to do.i would rather eat dirt than do homework tonight.last night my family whent to a bon fire, and i took my homework with me. now all my papers and books smell like smoke.that would explaine the whifs of smoke i got during school. also i got mu foot ran over by a cross between a 4-wheeler and a golf cart. nobody belived i was hurtt until i screamed and it took them 2minuites toget my foot out.hey tell me what you think about this poem.

A Perfect Twilight

Feel the world cooling
Watch the colors blend pink orange purple
The end of a new day
The cooling wind tells you it will be back
Watch the sun set over the mountains
Follow the wind it will take you over the sea
Over the sea you see the dolphins telling you goodnight
The sea falls asleep as you fly over it
The wind tells you that beauty is everywhere
Watch the beauty of twilight
The perfect end of a day
Hear the wind go to sleep
The world tells you of its day as you sleep
You feel free like the wind

By the way we're all HIDI freaks (H1N1) it's fun, like hand cleaner is our new best friend (or that's how Brandon put it)

LaRie

fun...fun...fun...!!!!!

Well hope you all get over the lice C, that's not fun. We've gotten it a couple of times and it was terible. Well yesterday was one of the best days of my life because...We started Character First in our school and it was so much more fun that I thought it would be. Katie's and my first class was a Pre-K, that was fun. Second was a 2nd grade, and our third class was 1st grade. Katie and I ate lunch with the Pre-K kids (there so cute) and did recess with Pre-K, 1st, and 2nd grades. Then we did recess with 3rd, 4th, and 5th, grades, that was fun. It was really windy and the girls were wearing skirts so it was really hard to run around and play with the kids, cause of the wind. As soon as I got into the playground some kid ran up and gave me a hug. Instantly Katie and I were covered in kids everywhere. So I played with them for an hour, or so. Pre-K kids it was tag, and duck duck goose. And the older kids was football, and hand games. Then on our way back in to prepare for our next class we say a boy from our bible club group. He had a cast on his foot, so I asked him what happened and Nathan (who was talking to him) said "He got hungry and so he tried to eat his foot" The boy stared at Nathan for a minuet and started laughing. I never figured out what really happened. But afterward we did bible club, and after that we had YOUGROW. were working on the Truth Project right now. Then we and a bunch of other people went to Long John Silvers and ate supper. A friend and I were talking and I wanted somehting sweet so I bought a root beer float, and asked them to split it for us. So I gave Taylor half and I got half. Then they split it the gave us a full cup each (how cool it that?) so we had to show it off to everybody and make them jelous. We didn't get home till 11:00 cause after that we had to go to a friends house and get Helen's cell phone charger, and we got lost on the way home. So i'm working today and i'm super tired, but can't wait till next week.

Love, ya'll

School,Life,Work,Shoes, and Cake...

Hey everyone,
What's up? I'm so so so so so sorry I haven't bloged in a while. Wow C 8th grade sounds harsh. I'm a sevie. Thank Goodness! But next year I will have to endure the tortures my over eager teachers can come up with. Are either of you in any clubs? I'm in: Drama Club, Acedemic Team, and hopefully Model UN. I also take dance, play flag football, and I am the mascott for my school. Go CUBS! I want to be in writing club but that will take too much time. I also write poetry. Wow C your poem was AMAZING!!! Take a look at one I wrote, k?

AS ARE YOU

Where is my past,
My present,
My future.

With you,
I leave my love,
My soul.

Yet somehow,
It’s still here.

As are you…

Yet somehow,
It’s still distance.

As are you…

Yet love remains.
The happiness of sadness.

I wrote this write after my grandmother died. What do you guys think of it? Leave my comments please. I had a choir concert today. I did a duet with my friend. We had the loudest applause of the night. I was so nervous!!! I also got a peice of lemon cake after the performance from a bake sale. My dad is yelling at me to not leave my shoes by the doorway. I try to remember, I just seem to forget. Today my teacher made a kid rap the first verse to a song called "Boom Boom Pow" by the Black Eyed Peas. I was cracking up so much. I could hardly breathe. Well i should be getting off now. I have to go to sleep. I have school in the morning.

Back...

Ok, well i've been at the library almost all day and I just now figured out that everybody's of fall break from school, duh. I guess I didn't guess cause no kids were coming into the library this morning. Well i'm back and leaving for home soon. I want to do some sewing but I can't. I'll be busy tomorrow and Sat. And i'll be gone Sunday and Monday. Mabey next week I can. My jeans are too short so i'm going to come up with a creative way to lenghten them. Well got to go.

My shopping life...

Well what a boring title cause my shopping life is boring right now-cause i'm broke. I did go to a thrift store last Sunday and get a cute shirt, a green jacket, and a purple one, and some cute shoes. I still need to get some legging to wear under my skirts for Mission Day since it's getting colder, and colder. I also want some boots (fat chance) anyway, Celoshia, I can't blog very much cause we don't have internet at home. So whenever i'm at the library I try to blog. I'm working with mom today. The rest of my siblings (excluding Em, and Allen) are going to a concert today. I don't want to go cause I don't like SKILLET, Na, loves them though. They got meet and greet passes, and Na, kept me up till 12:00 last night talking about them. The only people who really blog are GeGe, you (C) and ME!!! I've been trying to get other people to blog, but if you don't have any means of contact then that's kinda impossible. Well I got to go, it's 10:00 and I have to start working. Blog soon.

Hey ppl

Hey Celoshia ( hope I spelled your name right) what's up. I am so SUPER EXCITED cause last Monday we started Bible Club in the Santa Fe South Elementry school, and next week were starting Character First in Santa Fe South. Na, (sis) and I think it's funny cause we go to public elementary school once a week and were the teachers, and the rest of the week were homeschooled in high school, funny and confusing, but fun. Anyway, I have to call my Character First partner Katie, and figure out what were doing on Monday. I'm kinda nervous cause i've never done this before but this is Katie's like 2nd or 3rd year so she knows what she's doing. And in Bible Club were were at our school for one and a half hours and it felt like thirty minuets, to short. So were doing to be at the schools all day from about 10:00am to 5:00 pm. Were doing Character First in the morning, and playing with the kids at recess. In the afternoon were tutoring, grading or doing just whatever the teachers need us to do, till three, then we do bible club. We get back to church about 5:00 and clean up. At 6:00 is YOUGROW till 8:30, last Monday we didn't get home till 10:00. So anyway get up at 6:00am go to bed at 10:00pm or later. Thank goodness it's only once a week. Well that's about all. I'll blog later.

Solo

Hey everyone!
Wow LaRie that sounds like a busy day! My choir will have our first performance soon
and I have been trying to figure out if I should do a solo or not. I really want to, but I can't decide on a song. It would be really scary. Although I've performed by myself in front of crowds before and it's not that hard. Still....What do you think I should do? I wonder what song I should sing? I don't want to sing a song and be really good at it then have everyone tell me it was a lame song. That would stink. Im a definately torn. And to top it off I have for two tests and two quizzes tomorrow. Although this weekend should be fun. I am going to stay at a friend's house. I can't wait. Maybe she can help me think of a song to sing. Well I have to go make dinner. Tonight we are having Chicken Parmasiana. Yummy! Miss you all! TaTa For Now...

Life.....And riding on the bus

GeGe, that's what you get for riding on the bus and listening to weirdos. I'm working 8-10 today, mom's at a staff meeting. So i'm going to do whatever i'm doing for the next two hours. Monday was our last day of training (for Mission Day) or so we thought. Next monday we start Character First training-we just figured out were doing that also. So in the mornings were doing Character First. And in the afternoon were doing Bible Club. If you want to be really confused here's my teams. Leader: Morgan, People: Me, Rachel, Taylor, Abbey, Jordan, Reagan, Hope, and Katie. That's Morgan's team. They split all of us up into 4 groups, that's my group. Now for Character First my small group team is Katie and ME!!!!!. And for Bible Club it's Chris, Katie, and Me (Katie and I are in the same group all day) And if we want to go farther ????? my YOUGROW group is. Again the leader is Morgan, and other people are: Me, Hope, Jordan, Reagan, Monica, Grace, Katherine, and Mekinzie. So there are all my groups. I might even be getting another one, or on another one. This monday, there starting Bible Club. Our 4 groups have been split into 2 groups. One side goes to one school, and we get to go to the other school. Na is at the opposite school. (i'm not naming names) the one I am going to I think they were uniforms so we have to wear something like that (FUN-not really) So on Monday Helen's taking Na, and I into the city so we can do the Character First training. Right after we have to leave so we can go to an orthodontist appointment (NOT-FUN) Not very happy about that. Anyway as far as evalulations go I passed (on the gospel presentation) next week we get to the the diolauge verson. When we were waiting to go be evalulated Na, Justin, Luke and I were sitting on the back row waiting of course. I went with Miss Valerie. When I came back they asked me how I did and of course I passed. The Valerie came over and asked who wanted to be next. And we all said "Luke" at the same time. Of course it was kinda mean-but funny at the same time. Chris (from my team) was practing in front of a tree before he went and said it to someone. Some of us were watching him and I came up with this: "Save The Tree's Literally" We asked him if the tree got saved. He said I don't know it kept shaking it's left leaf-i'm not shure if it was a yes or no. So we were kinda nervous and poking fun at everything. Well i'f I haven't blogged enough the tell me. Of course I can blog more, but you've probally had enough for the moment.

I miss you (or at least everybody at camp)

Hey

Hi everyone! How are you today? I have an interesting fact for you. The security system ADT stands for American District Telegraph. Why am I telling you this? Because, a kid on the bus home today told me that it was named after him. I didn't believe him. So I looked it up. As you probably guessed it wasn't named after him. So there you go. My interesting fact for the day. How did you like it? I know it's not that interesting, but hey, I had to write something. I think I have had too much cake today because my stomach is upset. My sister says hers was too. Well not much else news. TaTa for Now!!! :) :)

WOW

So LaRie what do you think? I justed posted twice in a row. Today is my BIRTHDAY!!!
I don't feel 13. I just got back from the movies. I saw FAME. It was AWESOME!! I know thats what I'm going to do when I get older. I am going to make it to the bigtime as a dancer. But for now I just have to practice. Although in my group of friends I am normally the choreographer when we perform. How is everyone? Hey I think you guys should check out the song "Black and Gold" by Sam Sparro. It has a really good beat to it. I am going to go play paintball Sunday. It should be fun. Has anything interesting happened? I got a survey from camp today with the pictures Mark took a disc and they crashed my computer. How weird is that? My sister fixed the computer but it was still really weird. I just finished the Percy Jackson series.
Has anyone read it? I have a football game tomorow. I hope we win. I have been listning to "Black and Gold" for about five minutes and I am already starting to make up a dance to it. Silly Me. Can't keep still. HaHaHaHaHaHa!! I feel kind of jumpy actually. I had a really good birthday except I had to go to school. Well that's life. You're not spoiled LaRie. Has anyone read the Maximum Ride series? I have to go to bed now, so I guess I'll get off. I'll blog tomorrow!

It gets kind of romantic in the last book. But I loved the series. Tomorrow is my Birthday!! I am sooo HAPPY!! 13 at LAST!! I am going paintballing for it. I can't wait. I wish you guys could all be there. I miss camp.
What if school was just like camp? That would be AWESOME!! What do you think? I hate typing on a laptop too. OK maybe this won't be so long. But I have to jet. I will post again soon. Love Always,

I'm so spoiled...ha,ha, living the life

Hey, i'm at Aunt Tammi's house-gotta go in a little bit though. Hope your enjoying your books Zach. Personally I don't think i'll ever read Twilight, just does not appeal to me. I stayed up till 2 last night, watching TV and on the internet. Aunt Tammi spoils me. She gave me like five choices for supper and breakfast. I have internet here. I'm eating a Arbys roast beef sandwich-haven't had one of those in a very long time- and watching TV which we like never-ever do at our house, unless of course there is something going on with the weather. Which I think is exciting when we have storms, and scary if there really big storms. Dad would be a storm chaser if he could. (by the way I hate typing on laptops-drives me insane- i'm constantly making mistakes) So anyway Aunt Tammi refuses to say she's spoiling me-but she is. Well gotta go the church tonight-that's the only reason i'm here. While of course all other sibling peoples are at home, he, i'm so bad or mean. Not really, i'm the sweetest girl in our house- not putting down other people but I am, just ask one of them. Well keep blogging i'll catch up with you later. Mom's in Missouri visiting her sister, so i'm kinda surprised that i'm am able to check the blog so much- cause I usally check when i'm at the library but since mom's not here and working I have barley been there this month. Zach I think you need to blog more- nothing personal but since we can't e-mail and i'd like to keep in touch it would be nice. I miss you all so very much, I really hope to do it next year.

LaRie Ann

One more thing...

One more thing to add to my list of posts. When they shut down this blog next July ( I don't even want to think about that) We should start our own blog that way we can all blog like this toegether anyway. Just like were doing now. I think it's more fun to share a blog than have one all to yourself-GeGe and I know that that's like- anyway i'll leave you alone soon.

LaRie

P.S. I love it when you all blog so hope to hear from you soon.

Hey people...

Well very glad to see that people are blogging. S.T.I.R.N. nice to hear from you. Can you get Cara and Alex to blog? I'm at a friends house (spending the night) Friday I spend the night at another friends house-stayed up till 2 and got up at 7. Then tonight at i'm spending the night at another friends house cause there taking me to the Mission Day thing i'm doing now. Today my friend Amanda took me to the National Cowboy Hall Of Fame-it was kina fun. So i'm tired---really tired. I also have to get up at around 6:30 tomorrow. And Zach as far as your comment goes: i'll try to blog every time I get on-but that is not very often. Well i'll check later.

Murry (Zach)

Dogs..

Who likes dogs??? That would not be me. The latest exciting/or scary event happened Tuesday night. Mom sent Allen out to bring the trash cans to the the house, not big deal. She decided to stand on the porch and watch for the neighbor dogs (if you don't know what i'm talking about just ask) The last couple days she had been letting Lyd, Em, and Allen play outside as long as they stayed near the house, and watched for the dogs-of course. Pulling the trash cans down from the street makes a lot of noise. And since i'm writing about this you can only guess who came over to investigate. Mom saw the dogs trotting over and told Allen to run to the house-which he did. Once the dogs were over there I guess they decided hey there's someone to bark at (mom) Allen ran into the house and he screamed and Emily screamed-freaked us all out. Mom stuck her head into the house and screamed for dad. Who went dashing up the stairs got the gun, loaded it and shot outside. So this big dog was tearing up the ground and looking like he was going to charge-or something like that. Dad raised the gun and shot him. He wanted to shoot him in the head but it missed, grazed the left side of his head and went into his left shoulder. He rolled over a couple times and took off toward his house. And we haven't seen him since. We don't know if he's dead but we hope he is. That hasen't helped my fear of dogs any though.

And have fun being mascot tonight.

Can't think of a good topic name for this post...

Well i'm back. You must have a busy life to GeGe (by the way it's pouring rain) And i'm blogging, playing a game, and watching Ask Chad (Revolve Tour) and checking e-mail at the same time-for guys who go what it's called multi-tasking and we (girls) are good at it. I'm in the library and freezing (i'll freeze to death if they don't turn up the heat in here someday)One time my fingers got so cold they were numb-it wasn't very funny. GeGe I have a friend who's Jewish and she is learning hebrew too, not that I can understand any of it. Well i'll blog later. I don't know when i'm coming to the library next, moms going on vacation and not working for a while. Helen might bring me though.

Busy person...fun and confusing

Hey, what ever happened to blogging? For you lucky people who have internet at home, huh? Well that woulden't be me, unfortunally.Well the newest thing in my life is...NOTHING-not really. Now on every Monday, Na (sis) and I are doing something with our church called Mission Day. A month or two ago our church did a mission week. Instead of going on a mission trip they did one right in the community around our church. So on every Monday now there doing Mission Day, all day. I'm spending the night at a friends house and they take me, then i'll go to band pratice with dad. They will be teaching us spanish so we can communicate better with the people. On top of that I have school, and i'm also learning portuguese at the same time-busy person- dad said it's better to learn portuguese and then spanish. The languages are very similiar. So it will be very confusing. And i'm also working a lot too (volunteering at the library- I refer to it as work) and chores and all- you get the point. Oh and i'm trying to convince dad to let me get a cell phone. He said I didn't need one but now that i'll be gone every Monday all day, I might just need one. So i'll try to blog again soon.

Life in general...or not..

Well my life has been slow, and slow, and even more slow. But I do have exciting things happen every not and then. On Tuesday I spend the night a my friends house. I played DDR for hours and hours. And went swimming. They have a 10 foot pool. My friend and I practiced diving. At first we were really bad, but then we improved a bunch. I did not wear any sunscreen and I got a really bad sunburn. Mainly on my shoulders, and it hurts. But its getting better. Anyway i'll blog later.

LaRie

P.S. I can't believe that nobody is blogging, what happened?

Why..

Why is nobody blogging???

Caught, he,he.

Finally I have caught him, or Zach. Okay I have finally found a picture of Zach and he's smiling. If you look at the pictures that mark took, the first one at the OKC metropoltian library downtown he's smiling. At least we got one picture. Not that he'll be happy.

Breakfast at 11:00?

On Saturday when mom was driving us home she called home and told Helen (older sister) to start making breakfast. Lydia and I looked at each other and started laughing. Of course Saturday they slept in so they had a late breakfast. But it seemed weird eating breakfast so late.

LaRie

Yeah!!!

Yeah, I am finally able to get onto the blog. For about 2 weeks I have not been able to blog. The user name or password was not right. I e-mailed GeGe and so now I can get on.

Well these last 2 weeks have been the longest weeks ever. I miss camp soooo much. Every time we pass by the hotel it brings back a lot of fun memories. Life seems a little boring... only a little. Of course we still have the excitment. And not so fun stuff, like school. We do school year round so I have been working hard the last two weeks on it. Last night we went to the library night ball game. The Redhawks WON!!! finally. In eight library night games they have only one twice. I noticed not many people have been bloging. It will not be very fun if we don't keep in touch.
Well blog about something. Now that I can get on I will all the time.

Friday: A day at IMC in the life of the 2nd Years - aka “Mentors”

Friday the 2nd Years got to go to some really cool places. We started out at the Oklahoma City Museum Of Art, where we got to tour the new “Turner to Cézanne” exhibit and the Chihuly glass displays. Here they are photographing the the Chihuly ceiling:

This was a great place for taking photos, and the 2nd Years took a lot! The gift shop was very popular, and nearly everybody got something there, including me.

After lunch we went to the Temple B'nai Israel and got a tour of the library they have there. The librarian (and our tour guide) was Adri, who is a member of the congregation.

She volunteers her time to make the library a useful place. She put the library's catlog on Library Thing so anyone can search to see what they have. She answered all of our questions and showed us some of the interesting books and videos they have there, such as Curious George in Hebrew! Finally Sharon had to tear us away so that Kris could meet with her grandparents to go show sheep.

After we dropped her off, we had some time to kill, so we went shopping! We hung out at a local used book store and went to Braum’s for some refreshing treats!

Thursday: A day at IMC in the life of the 2nd Years - aka “Mentors”

This was the day everyone got to do job shadowing at the Downtown library. They shadowed folks from reference, circulation, acquisitions, management, and the children’s librarian. We had a nice lunch with all the staff at that library.

Tuesday: A day at IMC in the life of the 2nd Years - aka “Mentors”

Tuesday was one of the most fun days for the 2nd Year group, I think... We went to a Family Research Library of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They had several volunteers ready to help us. They explained how important it is to gather information about your family while you can, before any of them pass away.

Several of the group whipped out their cell phones to interrogate their parents about family names and dates of birth and death. The bad news about genealogy research was that it is easier to find information about people who have died. I am fortunate in that three of my four grandparents are still alive, but I was able to find my grandpa on the 1910 census in Arkansas. Sharon finally made us leave so we wouldn’t miss lunch at OUHSC with the rest of the campers.

With Dr. Dan the Buffalo at OUHSC
That afternoon we were given a tour of The Oklahoman. They confiscated our bags and cameras before the tour started, so no interesting photos from the tour, but we got a windy group shot out front.

Monday: A day at IMC in the life of the 2nd Years - aka “Mentors”

Monday the second years went to Oklahoma City University for a tour of an academic library. Victoria Swinney, director of the Dulaney-Browne Library took us around and showed us the compact shelving, interlibrary loan, and the Special Collections on the top floor.

After that we had a brief tour of the Oklahoma County Law Library.

We re-joined the rest of the group that afternoon, and went to the Oklahoma History Center. I love going to Sonic for a big Diet Dr. Pepper on Saturdays, so I had to take a picture of this:

I jinxed myself

Hello,
how is everyone this fine day? So you that camp ended a couple of days ago, right?
Well as I waited for my dad to pick me up I was going to make hot chocolate because my tounge had healed. Well as i set the cup of hot water on the counter it splashed. EVERYWHERE!!! As most of you know I probably shouldn't have attempted it, that would have been testing fate. Well you're right. The hot water splashed on my EYE!!! It got very close to the actual eyeball. It hurt ALOT! So I have learned my lesson. NO MORE HOT CHOCOLATE!!!!

My quote for today is

Camp Fruit Salad

Hi everyone. Since it's the last day of camp I wrote this cool poem. Hope you like it.

Camp

Camp is like a fruit salad,
With all those different people.

Sometimes they don't mix well together,
Sometimes they bond with each other.

You are always scared that first day,
Wondering what you should say.

And yet at the end of the day,
You have a pretty great Fruit Salad.
