Like five minutes after i got home i had to start working. I probably worked about an hour an then we got in the van and headed off to pick up my little brother. I miss camp and all the librarys and museums. Hope you all are having fun back at home.

when i got picked up today we went to the OKC zoo to celebrate my littlest sisters b-day. it was so hot i thought i would melt. most of the animals were in there dens so it wasn't as fun. the sea lion show was so boring and in the wet zone you didn't even get wet. i was so suprised when i rode my horse that he behaved so well since i hadent riden him in almost a month he didnt even get stubborn. i miss imc already. my little brother is climbing on the dishwasher all the time now. and my littlest sister missed me so much while i was gone. hopefully you guys will blog soon.

Today was sooooooo cool! we went to the art muesem which was my fav part of the week! i got lots of cool pics of the glass art!!!!!!!!! we also went to a jewish temple library which was very boring :( . . . . . . . . uh its the last day :( i going to miss yall soooo much! coming to these camps was one of the funnest things i have ever done. i have learned soooo much coming to these camps and i really hope they chose to keep having the camp. . . . this is an experience every one should have! i seen sooooooooooooooooooooo many great places and meet sooooooo many great people!!!!!!!! We went to the cowboy hall of fame today. It was actually so much more interesting then I thought it would be. The only stinky thing about it was that we couldn't take pictures in the art gallery. We also got to take a tour of their library downstairs from the real museum. Later we went to the Interis Health Center had lunch and got to see their nonfiction library. The reason I say "nonfiction library" is because they also have another library filled with regular books. then we spent a little amount of time at the Integris computer place and learned about how their computers that work all of the Integris Health Centers in the state. In a litte bit whenever I'm done blogging were going to eat at some Chinese Resturant. Today was great except for my grumpy mood but it's just because I'm tired.

Those of you who have been reading should know that I still have not been attacked by a daisy.

I will try to write something a little bit better. It is just a slow day. I haven't been burned on any more hot chocolate. No more daisy attacks will be writen by me. Today we went to the Cowboy Hall of Fame. And Intergris. Camp is almost over and I am sad. Although I believe daisies are very pretty flowers. Does any one like my daisy posts? This morning, I woke up at 8:03. My stupid alarm didn't go off and neither did my roomate's. Stupid alarms. So I leaped out of bed and grabbed basically the first thing in my suitcase. Then, ran downstairs and went without breakfast. I was very hungry at lunch.

Today

Today we went to the OU CAMPUS (down with all osu fans) and toured the campus a bit and their libraries. In one room they had a glass floor it was cool, it was a little blurry though. We also went the the National Weather Center and toured that too. Then we went to the Sam Nobel Museum I liked that. We also did not get a tour so we got to go wherever we wanted, and not have to hear 10 minutes on each exhibit. Tonight we are doing a video game thing that sounds cool!!!!

today we went to the OU campus and cot to check out the huge library. Just so you know that library contains over 2 million items. Wow! Their architecture is beautiful!!! Going through the old part of their library was so amazing. We got to walk on eighty year old glass and got to look through cracks in their shelves that go five stories down!!! So awesome!

Afternoon News Report

Hello, and welcome to the Afternoon News Report with Niki *random music*.

Today was an experience of fun, adventure, and LairI scaring the crap out of S.T.I.R.N. and I in the exibit. Also, S.T.I.R.N. almost destroying Alibug's heels and toes.

At around 8:15 this morning, the first years left for the approximately 30 minute trip to The University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. Our first stop was the largest library on campus. This library is the main research library on the OU campus. It is home to The Great Reading Room, which is one of the most beautiful and amazing rooms i've ever seen. Then, we strolled into the portion of the library that stored most of the books. In the old days, people who worked in the rooms would get a call order and would send the book down through the book elevator. Students didn't used to be able to go into those particular parts of the library. :(.

Then off to the weather center we went. I'm really not that in to science and things, so I almost fell asleep and didn't get really anything the lady said. :D.

At the Sam Noble Museum, we individually, yet with a partner, cruised through the exibits, until LairI came up behind S.T.I.R.N. and I and scared us to death. S.T.I.R.N. and I both ended up on the floor laughing our heads off. *looks off into the distance* Good times, good times. *Back to earth* Thank you and join me next time on The Afternoon News Report with Niki. *Exiting music*. oooooooooooooooh!

Soooooooooooo, that wasn't my favorite animated movie or Macaulay colken(don't know how to spell his name) movie. Shelton(the person I shadowed) was awesome and had great hair. He isn't Hispanic but some people think he is. He's native American. So glad we got to sleep in today otherwise I wouldn't be as vibrant as I am.(Ha!) Volleyball practice is coming up soon and I am so out of shape it is hilarious.

today is the forth day and it's been amazing. We went to the metropoliton library and we were job shadoweres. Some kids had to help their people work alot but i only had to do a little and it was fun. Then we ate there and the food was scrutpomtious. Today was sooooo much fun! The person I was shadowing was a childrens librarian, and she was really sweet. We got to sit in and listen to a Very Important Meeting, which is basically a bunch of professional geeks (a.k.a. librarians) talking about what they need in their libraries. It sounds boring, but it wasn't.

Okay, I'm like really excited about game night.I'm not that good at Rock Band, or any video game, but I try. I wonder what we'll have for dinner?

Greetings from the land of internet blogging,

My tounge is still very very sore. Why? Those of you who haven't been keeping up with my blog might ask.

I'll give you a sumary. I was going to make hot chocolate when, there was no hot water.

After that warmed up I did not wait long enough to drink it and burned my tounge. Well it hurt.

TODAY....We went to the Tinker Air Force Base. It was nice seeing some of the base from the bus window. By the time we made it to the library we were getting into our question modes for our tour guide. We ate lunch at mazzio's it was fine. But before all of that we read to kids at a local elementary. Reading to the kids was fun!

My Tounge It Burns!

You know that hot chocolate I was talking about last night? Well, It burned my tounge. It was unpleasent. Especially because it was a nice big sip. I ran down the hall to the ice. As soon as I got it I put a piece in my mouth. It was frozen relief. It still is really and truly burned. And it hurts all OVER. But I guess I'll just suck on ice. I'll post later to tell you how my tounge is doing.

Hot Chocolate

Have you ever just wanted to sit down at the computer and drink some nice hot chocolate? I have. And that is what I was about to do when, there was no hot water. So, we had to put water in the machine and wait for it to get hot. Not luke warm, but hot. When that happened I could finally get my hot chocolate. Then you have to wait for your hot chocolate to cool enough to drink. So I finally get to drink my hot chocolate. oh well. So I bid you all A due.

RHINO: day 2

Today we went to the library for the Blind & Physicaly Handicapted. It was really fun learning a bit of brail! Then we ate lunch at the OU Medical Libary. It was pretty good. After that we toured the library. It was very fasinating!!! Yes I probaly spelt that wrong,but OH well! Then we were on video cam talking to the childrens director for the Rock & Roll meusem in Ohio. That was our day! Rhino's RULE!!!!!!

day 3 of MATRIX CAMP


so today we went to the libaray for the blind and phisically handicapped. it was alot of fun i liked it alot, what i liked the most about it was that they had alot of things for people like my friend Dani who has cerbral palsy and for my aunt who is deaf. after that we ate at oklahoma university medical school, or OU med school. i really liked the maccoroni it tasted like it was from italy. we went to have a mettin with a dude from the hall of rock i forgot his name though but i guess that is ok.

Well one the first day we went to the Downtown library.. Then we went to the Spaghetti Warehouse..After that we went to the History Center that was fun I went to the gift shop and i got my dad some stuff..

Today was soooo much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We went to the Health and Sciences Muesuem. It was

NEAT! We saw a whole lot of old med. equipment. And many, many, MANY other sharp and pointy things. We also went to a Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.

About today

Hey peeps so nice to talk to you about my great day of camp! The Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped was very interesting, learning about just some of the inventions made specifically for the blind was really cool! walking through the OU campus health building was really awesome too. I still can not believe that it's just the second day of camp because I honestly wouldn't be able to see all the sight s I say just today in on week of staying in OKC!

2 day of fun.

Today we went to this cool library where you go on the computer and find out about your ancestors and all that cool stuff. The only thing I could find was when my Grandfather was born and when he died!!!!Then we had an awsome lunch at OU medical center, after that, the 1st years went to take a tour of the library while the 2nd years went to play on the computers for awhile....which was fun......The daily Oklahoman was a blast except it was a VERY long tour, by the time it was over my ankles were killing me.

Today we went to the ( a library i cant spell) and got on ancestry.com to find out where you came from. . . but all i found out was my greatgrandfathers social security number!!!!!!! FUNNY. . . . getting on the computer at OU was fun im soooooooooooooo glad we didnt have to go on the tour again! Going to the place were they make the Oklahoma( the newspaper ) was my favorite part of the day. . . . . except for the tour was very long and my feet hurt from running two miles last night before bed!!!not going to do that again!stiil got more stuff to do today sooo! ta ta for now!
